This bike has been around for a number of years but contiinues to grow in popularity.  Several guys at the shop own this bicycle and ride it around the lakes here.  I had the early model and understand that a lot of the problems with the early models have now been corrected.  The Micargi line in general is much better produced.  In my opinion bicycles made in Taiwan (Firmstrong Bicycles, Firth Sports) are still better made than those made on Mainland China.  I believe this is because mainland China has not been a trade partner with the USA as long as Taiwan and as such has not had the diffulculty to work out their produciton line flaws.  Time will tell.
